For five nights in July, ropers and riders from around the world descended on Ogden and thousands of fans showed up for the 85th annual Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo. Photojournalists from the Standard-Examiner were on hand to capture all of the sights and stories. These are some of the highlights from the week.

PHOTOS: Utah bull rider on the rise

Tyler Bingham grew up in Weber County and competed in high school rodeo competitions while attending Fremont High School. Now 25, Bingham lives in Howell and is a professional bull rider trying to make it to his first National Finals Rodeo. On Saturday, July 23, Bingham returned to Weber County to compete in the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo.
